In this workshop you practise a short museum counter conversation in Chinese. You will ask whether a Spanish audio guide is available, understand the reply about the rental fee and deposit, and then ask where to return it. The native lines are supplied as recordings, so listen and repeat before you speak. You can play both roles with the audio, and you can use the answer keys and recordings to check yourself.
Ask about the audio guide and understand the price
Start with a simple availability question. «有西班牙语的语音导览吗？» means "Do you have a Spanish audio guide?" The staff reply gives two amounts. «有。租金是二十块，押金一百块。» means "Yes. The rental fee is twenty yuan, and the deposit is one hundred yuan." Listen for the rental fee and the deposit as two separate pieces of information. If you only need to state your request, «我想租一个语音导览。» means "I would like to rent an audio guide." Keep your tone polite and your question short. When you hear the reply, do not answer with a new question immediately; first show that you understood the fee and deposit.
Check the fee, deposit, and return point
If the staff reply is not clear, ask one focused follow-up. «租金是多少？» means "How much is the rental fee?" «需要押金吗？» means "Is a deposit required?" These two questions keep the conversation on the same topic: the cost of renting the guide. After you agree to rent, ask where to return it. «好的，我想租一个。在哪里还？» means "Okay, I'd like to rent one. Where do I return it?" The staff answer includes a place and a document request. «在一楼出口还。请出示护照。» means "Return it at the exit on the first floor. Please show your passport." The return point is a location, not an instruction to turn right. Listen for the floor and the exit, then be ready to show your passport.

Choose the right reply
You hear a staff member answer your question about the audio guide. Choose the visitor line that fits the situation.
Your task: Staff line: «有。租金是二十块，押金一百块。». Which visitor line fits next: «我想租一个语音导览。», «租金是多少？», or «好的，我想租一个。在哪里还？»? Say your choice aloud, then play the staff line «在一楼出口还。请出示护照。» and choose the visitor line that fits before it: «你好，有西班牙语的语音导览吗？», «好的，我想租一个。在哪里还？», or «需要押金吗？».
Recall the exchange with correct roles
Cover the lines. You will rebuild the conversation from memory with one person as visitor and one as staff.
Your task: With a partner, take the visitor role and say the opening question and the rental request from memory. Your partner takes the staff role and says the reply about the fee and deposit and the return instructions. Then swap roles and repeat. Use the recordings to check yourselves after speaking.
Common questions
Do I need to understand every word in the staff reply?
No. For this task, listen for the rental fee, the deposit, the return point, and the passport request. The staff reply «有。租金是二十块，押金一百块。» gives the fee and deposit, and «在一楼出口还。请出示护照。» gives the return point and the passport request. If one part is unclear, ask one focused follow-up such as «租金是多少？» or «需要押金吗？».
Can I practise alone if I cannot assess my own speaking?
Yes. Play the recordings and speak the other role aloud. You can play both roles with the audio, but there is no automatic assessment. Use the answer keys and the recordings to check whether you said the fee, deposit, return point, and passport request correctly.
