Korean service questions are usually answered with a simple 네 (ne, 'yes') or 아니요 (a-ni-yo, 'no'), often followed by practical details. Hotel and airport staff may use polite imperative forms such as 타세요 (ta-se-yo, 'please board') or a formal -십시오 style in announcements. If you are speaking to a hotel employee, the polite -요 style in this lesson is appropriate; with close friends you would drop it, but that is not needed for travel situations.
One thing to watch for
Saying 호텔 셔틀은 어디예요? when you mean 'Where do I catch the shuttle?'
Try this instead: 어디예요? (eo-di-ye-yo?) asks 'Where is it?', which may get you the location of the shuttle itself, not the boarding point. To ask where to get on, say 셔틀은 어디에서 타요? (syeo-teul-eun eo-di-e-seo ta-yo?). If you simply want the shuttle stop, 셔틀 정류장이 어디예요? (syeo-teul jeong-nyu-jang-i eo-di-ye-yo?) is clearer.
