Use on a pleasant day to invite agreement. 是吧 (shì ba) is a casual tag, like 'right?'. Note that 是 here is pronounced in the neutral tone (ba is also neutral).

Use 好 (hǎo) before an adjective to mean 'so' or 'really'. 啊 (a) adds emotion.

To make a weather comment interactive, add a tag question at the end. The most common casual tag is 是吧？(shì ba?), meaning 'right?' or 'isn't it?'. For example: 今天天气真好，是吧？(Jīntiān tiānqì zhēn hǎo, shì ba?) 'The weather is really nice today, isn't it?' You can also use 对不对？(duì bu duì?) 'right or not?' but 是吧 is shorter and more conversational. To agree, start with 是啊 (shì a) 'yeah' and then add your own comment: 是啊，真舒服。(Shì a, zhēn shūfu.) 'Yeah, really pleasant.' This pattern works for many topics, not just weather. Note that in 是吧 and 是啊, 是 is pronounced in the neutral tone.
When to use it
Use these phrases in casual settings: waiting for a bus, meeting a neighbor, or chatting with a classmate. They are not for formal weather reports or official announcements. For example, a weather report might say 今日气温摄氏二十五度 (Jīnrì qìwēn shèshì èrshíwǔ dù) 'Today's temperature is 25 degrees Celsius', but in conversation you say 今天真暖和！(Jīntiān zhēn nuǎnhuo!) 'It's really warm today!' Also, when you want to keep the conversation going, ask a follow-up like 你那边呢？(Nǐ nàbiān ne?) 'What about your side?' This shows interest and gives the other person a chance to share.

In Chinese casual conversation, weather comments are often used to open a chat with strangers or acquaintances, similar to English. However, Chinese speakers may use 啊 (a) or 呀 (ya) at the end of a sentence to soften the tone and show friendliness. Also, 你那边 (nǐ nàbiān) 'your side' is common when talking to someone in a different location. Avoid using formal weather terms like 降水 (jiàngshuǐ) 'precipitation' in casual talk; it sounds like a forecast.
One thing to watch for
Adding 吗 (ma) to make a tag question, as in 今天天气真好，吗？
Try this instead: 吗 (ma) is a yes/no question particle and cannot be used as a tag after a statement. Use 是吧 (shì ba) or 对不对 (duì bu duì) instead. For example: 今天天气真好，是吧？(Jīntiān tiānqì zhēn hǎo, shì ba?)
