Asking about a one-month rental
Start by getting attention politely and asking your main question. The line «你好，请问这套公寓可以租一个月吗？» means "Hello, may I ask, can this apartment be rented for one month?" It combines a greeting, a polite opener, and the key question. If you only need the core question, «这套公寓可以租一个月吗？» means "Can this apartment be rented for one month?" To state your own intention instead of asking, «我想租一个月。» means "I want to rent for one month." Use «你好，请问这套公寓可以租一个月吗？» or «这套公寓可以租一个月吗？» when you do not yet know the answer, and use «我想租一个月。» when you are telling the other person what you want. Keep your tone calm and let the question rise slightly at the end.
Understanding rent, deposit, and utilities
Once the other person says yes, you need the numbers and the conditions. «房租多少钱一个月？» means "How much is the rent per month?" and «押金是多少？» means "How much is the deposit?" Ask these one at a time and listen for two amounts. A typical answer is «可以。房租三千块一个月，押金也是三千。», which means "Yes. The rent is 3,000 yuan per month, and the deposit is also 3,000." After the money, check the extras with «水电网费包括吗？», meaning "Are water, electricity, and internet included?" The answer «水费包括，电费和网费不包括。» means "Water is included; electricity and internet are not included." Notice that the reply separates what is included from what is not, so listen for both parts before you decide.

Your task: Read your part aloud, then play the staff audio for the reply. First say the polite version of the one-month question, «你好，请问这套公寓可以租一个月吗？». After the staff reply, ask about the monthly rent with «房租多少钱一个月？», then ask about the deposit with «押金是多少？». Finally ask what is included with «水电网费包括吗？». Do not change the order: question, reply, next question.

You have asked about the apartment and the staff member has answered. Listen to or read the reply «可以。房租三千块一个月，押金也是三千。» and the utilities reply «水费包括，电费和网费不包括。».

Recall the conversation with correct roles
Cover the recording list. Imagine the same apartment scene, but this time you begin as the customer and later switch to the staff member.
Your task: From memory, say the customer's four questions in order: the polite one-month question, the rent question, the deposit question, and the utilities question. Then switch to the staff role and give the two replies: the one with the two amounts, and the one about what is included. Say each line aloud before you check.
Common questions
Do I need to say the polite opener every time?
No. «你好，请问这套公寓可以租一个月吗？» includes a greeting and a polite opener, while «这套公寓可以租一个月吗？» is the same core question without them. Use the shorter form when you have already greeted the person, and use the longer form when you are starting the conversation.
How do I know whether water, electricity, and internet are included?
Ask «水电网费包括吗？» and listen for a reply like «水费包括，电费和网费不包括。», which states that water is included and that electricity and internet are not included. The reply separates the included item from the not-included items, so do not assume all three are the same.
