Agreeing to a plan in Chinese is often short and friendly. In this workshop you will hear a few common ways to say that something works for you, then use them in a simple plan about going to see a movie. You will practice both roles: the person who suggests the plan and the person who agrees and asks for the time. The goal is to respond naturally without translating in your head.
Short ways to agree
Chinese speakers often agree with just a few syllables. «可以。» means that something works or is fine. «行。» is a simple okay or that works. «没问题。» means no problem. «好的。» is another okay or sounds good. These are useful when someone suggests a plan and you want to accept it. Notice that none of them require you to repeat the whole plan. A short agreement is usually enough, and it keeps the conversation moving.
Suggesting a plan and asking the time
A common pattern is to suggest an activity and then check the time. «我们明天去看电影,好吗?» means let's go see a movie tomorrow, okay? The speaker is making a suggestion and asking for agreement. «好的。几点?» means okay, what time? Here the other person agrees first, then asks for the time. «七点可以吗?» means is seven o'clock okay? This is a follow-up question about the time. «可以,没问题。» means that works, no problem. It answers the time question and confirms the plan. Keeping this order helps the exchange sound natural.
Keeping the order clear
In a short plan, the order usually goes: suggestion, agreement, time question, time answer. «我们明天去看电影,好吗?» starts with a suggestion. «好的。几点?» agrees and asks for the time. «七点可以吗?» offers a specific time. «可以,没问题。» accepts that time. If you swap roles, you still keep this order. One person suggests, the other agrees and asks, the first offers a time, and the other accepts. Practicing both roles helps you hear the pattern from both sides.
Listen once, then say the phrase yourself. Slow playback keeps the original pitch.

我们明天去看电影,好吗?
Let's go see a movie tomorrow, okay?好的。几点?
Okay. What time?七点可以吗?
Is seven o'clock okay?可以,没问题。
That works, no problem.Your turn
Try each prompt out loud. Choose a guided start, the full sequence, or a challenge pass after your first attempt.
Guided exchange: suggest and agree
You are practicing with a partner. One person suggests going to see a movie tomorrow. The other agrees and asks for the time.
Your task: Person A says «我们明天去看电影,好吗?». Person B replies with «好的。几点?». Then switch roles and repeat the same two lines in the same order.
Reply comprehension: choose the right answer
You hear a time question and need to choose a suitable reply from the lines you have practiced.
Your task: Read «七点可以吗?». Which reply both accepts the time and confirms the plan: «可以。» or «可以,没问题。»? Say your choice out loud, then check the answer key below.
Recall with correct roles
You will rebuild the short exchange from memory, keeping the same order and the correct roles.
Your task: Without looking, say the four lines in order: suggestion, agreement and time question, time offer, and acceptance. Then swap roles and say the same four lines again in the same order.
Common questions
Do I need to repeat the whole plan when I agree?
No. A short agreement like «可以。» or «行。» is usually enough. Repeating the whole plan can sound heavy in a simple exchange. Save the longer reply for when you also need to answer a time question, as in «可以,没问题。».
What if I am the one who suggests the plan?
You can start with «我们明天去看电影,好吗?» to suggest the activity and ask for agreement. If the other person agrees and asks for the time, you can offer a time with «七点可以吗?». Then wait for their answer, which may be «可以,没问题。». This keeps the same order even when you switch roles.
