In more formal situations, such as with a boss or elder, you might use 您觉得...怎么样？ (What do you think of...?) to show respect. Also, Chinese speakers often use 我们 (we) to include themselves in the suggestion, making it sound like a shared activity. This is a subtle way to build rapport.
One thing to watch for
Learners often say 我们看电影吗？ (Wǒmen kàn diànyǐng ma?) to mean 'Let's watch a movie?' But 吗 is a yes/no question particle, so it sounds like 'Are we watching a movie?' rather than a suggestion.
Try this instead: To make a suggestion, use 吧 or 怎么样 instead of 吗. For example, say 我们看电影吧 (Let's watch a movie) or 我们看电影，怎么样？ (How about we watch a movie?). Reserve 吗 for genuine yes/no questions like 你是学生吗？ (Are you a student?).
